Canada’s Rylan Wiens, Nathan Zsombor-Murray finish off the podium men’s 10-m platform final

Canada’s Rylan Wiens and Nathan Zsombor-Murray will go home with just one medal.
The two divers advanced to the men’s 10-metre platform final on Saturday, but then failed to make the podium in the 12-man final.
Wiens, 22, placed seventh in the event with 445.60 points while Zsombor-Murray, 21, came 10th with 404.90 points.
Yuan Cao of China took home the gold medal with a total score of 547.50. Rikuto Tamai of Japan grabbed the silver medal with 507.65 points, while Great Britain’s Noah Williams grabbed the bronze with a final score of 497.35 points.
The Canadian duo of Wiens and Zsombor-Murray earned a bronze medal for the country in the men’s synchro 10-metre platform back on July 29.
Zsombor-Murray, from Pointe-Claire, Que., and Wiens, from Saskatoon, were competing in their second Olympic Games after debuting at Tokyo 2020.
