1 person injured in Etobicoke shooting

One person was taken to hospital after being injured in a shooting in Etobicoke.

Police were called to Dixon Road and Kentroyal Drive just after 5 p.m. to reports of a vehicle being shot at.

Evidence of a firearm discharge was located on the scene.

Police were then informed the victim had been driven to the hospital. They suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Dixon was closed between St. Phillips Road and Westona Street but has since reopened.
