Alcohol suspected in fiery crash at DVP & York Mills

For the second day in a row, Toronto police suspect drinking and driving in a serious crash.

A minivan burst into flames after it slammed into a pole on Lynedock Crescent near the Don Valley Parkway and York Mills Road around 5 a.m. on Friday.

The driver wasn’t injured but was taken to police’s 32 Division to undergo a breath check.

During the rush hour on Thursday, the drivers of two separate collisions were taken into custody for breathalyzer tests.

One collision occurred at Jane Street and Highway 407, while the other took place at Keele Street and Wilson Avenue. No one was seriously injured in either incident.
