Toronto police have identified the teenage boy killed in a triple shooting in Etobicoke on Sunday.
Emergency crews were called to the Kingsview Village Junior School parking lot in the Islington Avenue and Dixon Road area just before midnight.
Zakariye Ali, 16, of Toronto, was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he later died.
An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were also taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. Their identities have not been released.
On Monday, Homicide Det. Stephen Matthews said the three victims were not known to police and the shooting is not believed to be connected with the school.
Police said a suspect was seen fleeing the area, running north on York Street before getting into a light-coloured vehicle.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, around five-foot-seven with a slim build. He was wearing all black clothing.
