Suspect Found Wandering Neighbourhood After Murder

They’re now accusing the still unidentified suspect of killing a woman who lived in a home nearby.
But what led to the crime or why it happened is still a mystery.
Police were called to the area around 11am Thursday after a homeowner discovered his female tenant in the basement suffering obvious signs of trauma. It’s believed the victim is in her 40s, but police have yet to say how she died and admit they don’t have a motive.
Not long after, they began receiving reports of a strange man wandering aimlessly around a local park. After questioning the suspect, they took him into custody.
Residents are stunned at the sudden violence.
“It kind of upsets you in a way but then again what neighbourhood is not subject to something like this?” asks Elmer Haney rhetorically.
One woman who didn’t want to be identified remembers there was something odd about the stranger. “He wasn’t running. Like there was no problem with him. He was just wandering around. He looked a little bit suspicious.
Police are trying to contact the victim’s family before releasing her name.
