Man dies after being struck by vehicle near Finch, Dufferin

A 70-year-old man has died after he was struck by a minivan on Finch Avenue West near Dufferin Street, paramedics confirm to CityNews.
The victim was conscious and breathing when emergency crews arrived on scene around 8:30 p.m. Saturday but had suffered serious head injuries along with a broken leg.
He was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The area will be closed off for at least three hours while police reconstruction crews worked to determine what happened.
There has been no word on charges.
