Oshawa man charged with plastering anti-Muslim graffiti across Durham Region

An Oshawa man is facing a slew of charges after police allege he plastered anti-Muslim graffiti throughout Durham region.
Police say they observed the suspect placing racist graffiti on an Oshawa bus shelter on Thursday and arrested him without incident.
Police believe he’s responsible for 15 incidents in Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa.
Joseph Porco, 56, has been charged with 15 counts of mischief under $5,000.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
