Ontario provincial police and Toronto police are searching for a man wanted in connection with two sexual assaults — one in Toronto two years ago, and another in Collingwood last year.
Police say around 1:20 a.m. on New Year’s Day in 2017, a 17-year-old woman was walking in a residential area near Birch Street and Second Street in Collingwood when she was forced into a vehicle and assaulted.
Police believe it’s the same suspect who attacked a 23-year-old woman on July 26, 2015, near Rogers Doad and Dufferin Street in Toronto. In this case, the woman was walking home from a bus station when she was forced into an alley and sexually assaulted.
The suspect’s car is described as a four-door silver/grey or tan sedan with black steel winter rims. The model year is between 2005-2010.
Police released a video into their investigation, watch it below:
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call OPP at 1-844-478-565 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
