Motorcyclist injured in Scarborough hit-and-run

A motorcyclist was seriously injured after in a collision with a vehicle in Scarborough on Saturday evening.
Police responded to a call for a crash in the Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue area around 4:40 p.m.
The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and paramedics say the man in his 20s was taken to a trauma centre.
Police say the vehicle — a white Honda SUV — fled the scene. It was last seen heading westbound on Englinton.
Roads in the area are closed for the investigation.
