NDP MP Olivia Chow was back in her Toronto riding on Friday, pitching a long-term infrastructure and transportation plan.
But the question that she always gets asked when she’s home popped up: Will she run for mayor of Toronto in 2014?
The Trinity Spadina MP and former city councillor is still not saying no.
“I love this city. This is my home. We have serious issues facing our city, whether it’s crumbling Gardiner or fixing our subways and streetcar lines,” Chow said. “We need leadership in all levels of government.”
She did say 2014 is still a long way off and she’s still listening very carefully to what ordinary Torontonians are telling her.
