Dec. 22 – StreetBeat – Man Stabbed But Not Co-operating With Cops

A man is in hospital with multiple stab wounds after an overnight attack in the Dufferin and Eglinton area.   Police were notified around 9:15am Friday after someone reported a blood-soaked shirt and jacket on the sidewalk of Dynevor Road.

The victim was discovered at a nearby residence with at least five knife wounds.   He was taken to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.   His name and age have not been released.

As happens all too often in these kinds of cases, police say the victim is refusing to provide information about who attacked him.

A female pedestrian and her two dogs were injured Friday night in Etobicoke.

A car hit the trio shortly after 6pm at Royal York and Stanley Avenue. Police say animal services has been called in and all three victims are expected to recover.
