“Men In Trees” Star Anne Heche & Husband Split

Actress Anne Heche may be looking to the trees after her husband filed for divorce after five years of marriage.
Coleman Laffoon, a movie cameraman, filed the documents Thursday citing irreconcilable differences and asking for spousal support and joint custody of the couple’s four-year-old son Homer.
The pair is apparently still sorting out who will get what in the split when it comes to property and other items.
Heche’s publicist announced the couple was splitting last week but divulged few details about the breakup.
The 37-year-old star of the TV show “Men In Trees” and Laffoon met while filming a documentary on comedian Ellen DeGeneres’ return to stand-up. Heche and DeGeneres were once romantically involved but announced their high-profile relationship was ending in 2000.
Heche plays a relationship guru relocated to Alaska in “Men In Trees” and has starred in films including “Wag the Dog” and “Donnie Brasco”.
