Hasty Decisions

Ryan Henry was pulled over by the cops and with good reason.
The 18-year-old blew by a Valparaiso, Indiana patrolman doing an astounding 149 kilometres an hour down a city street where the speed limit was supposed to be just 70 km/h.
When the officer asked him where he going in such a rush, the teen explained that he was in a big hurry to get home, after stopping at a gas station to buy an energy drink.
He actually tried to avoid his fate by turning into a driveway and shutting off the lights on his 2001 Mustang, but the savvy cop didn’t fall for it.
None of which is terribly significant until you realize that Henry wasn’t supposed to be driving that car at all.
He’d just been sentenced by a judge to take the bus to school everyday. The reason: cops had caught him speeding.
He’ll be back before a magistrate again on April 16th, along with another ticket for reckless driving.
Let’s hope that this time he learns his lesson and walks to the courthouse.
