Thomas The Tank Engine Toys Recalled

Toys based on a popular children’s character are being recalled across North America for safety reasons. The company behind the Thomas the Tank Engine toys is recalling 1.5 million of the wooden railway playthings because the paint used on them could contain lead.

The recall covers 22 different items sold between January 2005 and June 2007 in Canada and the United States. Those marked with the letters WJ or AZ aren’t included in the recall. Go to http://www.rc2.com/ for more information.
