‘Party Boy’ Arrested After World Famous Bash Goes Too Far

Just when you thought the story of 16-year-old Corey Delaney was over comes this news – the party boy we told you about on Tuesday has been arrested by police in Melbourne, Australia.

Delaney is the teen who lived up to every Hollywood cliché and held a monster blow-out at his home while his parents were out of town. He advertised the bash on MySpace and 500 wild teens showed up, trashing the place, destroying property and starting a riot with police who tried in vain to quell the out of control mob.

Now Delaney, the shirtless, ski-jacket sunglass-wearing minor, has been taken into custody, charged with a host of offences cops won’t reveal because of his age. They’ve threatened to present him with an $18,000 bill for the carnage his soiree caused, so he’s done what any kid would – go back to the well. His friends have set up a new MySpace page designed to solicit donations in case the invoice actually comes in.

And his party has become so famous, he’s been offered thousands of dollars to act as an organizer for other planned festivities. The unrepentant teen appeared on a local radio show Wednesday, telling his parents – whom he has refused to see since fleeing his home after the melee – that he was sorry, but wasn’t sure if he ever wanted to return.

“I do sort of, but don’t know right now,” he shrugged. When the interviewers asked if he was a scared brat, the teen responded with a classic answer. “Nuh,” he drawled.

But now that charges have been laid, it looks like for this kid, the party really is over.

  • This story, which started out as something of a joke, took a nasty turn on Wednesday, after officials revealed two boys have been charged – and one of them is facing accusations of producing child porn. The material was allegedly found in the home when police searched the premises.
