15-Year-Old Stabbed In The Head Overnight

A late-night run to an east-end plaza turned tragic for a group of teenagers Saturday night.
Witnesses on scene say there were up to six people with knives at a strip mall near Lawrence Ave E and Midland.
Police aren’t sure what provoked the attack, but at the end of the melee, a 15-year-old was taken to hospital.
The young man had been stabbed in the head. He was treated by emergency crews inside a Mr Sub restaurant before he was wheeled away to a waiting ambulance.
The teen remains in hospital, but his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.
