When police found a dead body on a quiet stretch of road in Caledon on May 15, they weren’t sure if the unidentified male was a hit-a-run, or murder victim.
They also couldn’t rule out a plethora of other ‘death by misadventure’ scenarios. But they soon started to put the pieces of the puzzle together. First they identified the victim, 18-year-old Ariel Besley, then they determined how he perished. An autopsy ruled he died of a gunshot wound.
Now they are trying to figure out how he came to rest on Old School Road, and more importantly, who was responsible for his demise.
Besley, who resided in Brampton, was last seen alive on May 10th, and authorities want to speak to anyone who may have been in the area of Old School Road between May 11 and May 15.
