Suspects Sought In Brazen Shooting In Apartment Lobby

Police are trying to track down a gunman who chased a man through an apartment building and then fired shots in the lobby putting the lives of parents and children walking in and out of the area at risk.
The frightening incident happened Monday just before 8:30pm at 2765 Islington Ave. when a man was chased through the ground floor of the building by two suspects, one of them armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
Several people tried to help the man being chased down and followed him into the lobby where the gunman fired off several rounds as residents, including children, walked in and out of the building, authorities said.
The two suspects then took off on foot. They’re described as:

- Black, 18 to 24-years-old
- 5’2″ to 5’8″
- He was wearing a black baseball cap with a gold logo, a black shirt with a gold logo and black pants

- Black, 20 to 30-years-old
- About 5’8″
- He was wearing a white tank top and grey track pants
