Toronto Man Faces Attempted Murder Charge In Connection With 2008 Shooting

A Toronto man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting at an alleged boozecan last June.

Police were called to 270 Garyray Dr. in the wee hours of June 15, 2008. When they arrived at the address on that Sunday morning they found a 24-year-old man suffering from bullet wounds.

After months of investigating, police arrested 26-year-old Marlan McLean on February 17. He now faces eight charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault, and a number of weapons-related offences.

McLean appeared in Old City Hall court this past Saturday.
