Four-Year-Old Boy Found After He Goes Missing Early Friday

A four-year-old boy has been found more than an hour after he went missing from his home in the west end of Toronto.
The child’s frantic mother called police just before 8am Friday after she woke up to find the youngster not in his bed and the front door of the residence open. The family lives on Douglas Blvd., near Royal York and Lakeshore.
There were concerns because the house is so close to Lake Ontario.
But it appears a school bus mix-up may be the reason behind the boy’s disappearance. It seems the youngster got onto the bus his older brother usually takes to school. The four-year-old goes to another school and takes a different bus.
The boy was soon reunited with his relieved mother.
