Charges Laid In Deadly Hamilton Crash

Charges have been laid in a Hamilton crash that left three people dead.

Hamilton Police allege that the driver of an SUV lost control of his vehicle 6pm on Friday.

The motorist allegedly struck and killed an 81-year-old cyclist, then slammed into the back of a Honda.

The Honda was pushed into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by a pick-up truck.

Hannah Gordon and Jeffrey Roche, both 29, were killed. The pair, from Burlington, were the only two people in the Honda at the time.

The cyclist has been identified as Tong Vi Duong of Hamilton.

Allan Maki, 40, has been charged with three counts each of criminal negligence causing death and dangerous driving causing death.
