Man Drowns Near Wasaga Beach

A Toronto man has drowned in the Nottawasaga River near Wasaga Beach.
Police received a call at around 4:20pm Saturday about a person who had failed to resurface after entering the water, near Power Line and Klondike Park roads.
After an hour-long search, rescue crews pulled the body of 23-year-old Nelson Nogaro from the river.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
