A menu for a dog café has drawn the ire of canine-lovers in High Park.
The restaurant serves the pooches – but not in the way you’d expect.
The fake list of dishes includes items like boiled or baked dog heads.
Even worse, walkers warn, it appears to be racist.
The restaurant, called the Dog Liver Café, bills itself as serving “Authentic Asian Cuisine.”
The leaflets were found on windshields and nailed to trees near the popular park.
Retired architect Mel Glickman took responsibility for the menus and says it was just a joke.
“My point is Torontonians are easily offended,” he said. “We’re uptight and we’re anal.”
Police have been to his home and cautioned him, but the culprit – a self-described provocateur – was not charged.
