Parking Enforcement Officer Punched In The Face

Police are searching for a suspect after a parking enforcement officer was assaulted on the job.

The officer was ticketing illegally parked vehicles on the Danforth near Carlaw Sunday afternoon when a driver of one of the tagged cars punched him in the face.

The suspect reportedly took off in his car and the parking officer was taken to hospital for treatment.

So far, descriptions of the suspect and the vehicle haven’t been released.
