Michael Jackson’s doctor stopped CPR on the unresponsive pop idol and delayed calling 911 so he could hide drug vials from the authorities, reports suggest.
Last year, Jackson aide Alberto Alvarez told police he was at the singer’s side on June 25, when Dr. Conrad Murray stopped CPR to stash drug vials in a bag.
Murray also allegedly called another Jackson aide immediately following the incident and didn’t call 911 until after the drugs were hidden.
Jackson died after overdosing on propofol and two other sedatives Murray gave him.
The doctor’s lawyer questioned the validity of the account, claiming Alvarez didn’t mention the vials in an earlier statement.
