Police search for suspects in kidnapping case

TORONTO, Ont. – Police in Toronto, Mississauga and Hamilton have banded together to investigate a bizarre kidnapping case.

A 24-year-old man was taken from the Jane Street and Wilson Avenue area on Tuesday, driven taken to Hamilton, where he was tortured with a clothes iron.

Police said the suspects then got a family member’s phone number from the victim and the next morning, demanded the family for a ransom.

Two suspects tried to pick up the ransom at Square One mall in Mississauga, but were arrested.

Three more men, all 25-years-old, two from Hamilton, one from Toronto, are also being sought by police.
