Talking ‘Gunless’ With Paul Gross

In his new film Gunless, Canadian actor Paul Gross plays American outlaw “The Montana Kid” during a time when the gunslinger supposedly crossed into Canada and made the small 17-person town of Barclay’s Brush home for a couple of days. The role was a dream come true for the actor, who says he’s always been a fan of the Western genre, as he grew up watching John Ford films from the ’30s and ’40s, and the work of Sergio Leone in the ’60s and ’70s.
Gross appeared excited and proud of Gunless when he spoke with CityNews.ca about what went into preparing to play the role of “The Montana Kid” and his warning to Canadians who don’t get out to see the movie. Watch the full interview below.
