Ignatieff Attacks Harper At Toronto Dinner

Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff came out with guns blazing at a dinner in Toronto on Monday.
In a speech to about 1,000 of his party’s supporters, Ignatieff attacked Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s views on abortion and the economy.
He accused the Conservative government of trying to start a “culture war” by cutting funding to abortions in developing countries, women’s groups in Canada, and Toronto’s Pride celebration.
Ignatieff also claimed that is was the previous Liberal government that secured the country’s banks, and not Harper.
Finally, he criticized the prime minister for handing out big corporate tax cuts and the size of the deficit.
