Herbie Fund – Part Two

In Part Two of our week long series on the Herbie Fund we meet five-year-old Soyam Takele from Ethiopia. Last winter she underwent life saving surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children. At the time, doctors didn’t think she would live long enough to make the trip from Africa to Toronto. She did and thanks to generous donations to the Herbie Fund, she not only survived, but thrived.
