All the families of ill children want is a second chance. But getting that opportunity is long shot when they don’t have the money.
The Herbie Fund uses donations to provide children in need with access to the best pediatric surgeons in the world, who work out of Sick Kids Hospital.
In the last episode of CityNews’ five-part series, Gord Martineau visits with Soyam Takele from Ethiopia. She is recovered and happy after undergoing lifesaving surgery courtesy of the Herbie Fund.
