Protest Against Police Actions

A large crowd, estimated at upwards of several thousand people, gathered outside of police headquarters at College and Bay to protest police conduct during the G20 Summit on Monday.

Police pushed everyone off the north side of College St., and created a line of bicycles in front of police headquarters.

College Street was totally blocked between Yonge and Bay before the crowd began moving.

The protest moved to Nathan Phillips Square and down Queen before eventually heading down to Eastern Avenue where several prisoners remain detained.

No violence was reported.
