Woman Dead In House Fire

A woman has died following a fire at a licensed rooming house on Friday woman.

Both the woman and a man were taken to hospital with serious burns following the blaze at 502 Huron St. The man remains in hospital in serious condition.

The fire broke out near Bloor and Spadina just after 10am. Ten trucks responded and mergency crews had the it knocked down by 10:20am.

Fire alarms in the home were working.

The Office of the Fire Marshal and Toronto Police Services are investigating.
