CNE gears up for another year

TORONTO, Ont. – It’s the traditional start to the end of summer for many and it’s almost here.
The Canadian National Exhibition opens for another year in a week and a half.
It features old-time favourites like the Superdogs show and the Midway.
David Bednar, with the CNE, told 680News there is also something new this year for people who do not want to walk a lot.
“The new people moving trams that we’ve got – which are going to be brightly coloured and [it’s] brand new equipment to get across the site without having to walk,” he said.
The EX runs from Aug. 20 until Sept. 6.
CNE officials said the grand opening admission price will only be $8.00.
