Two kinds of cookies sold at Costco are being recalled because the treats may contain pieces of metal.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Costco issued the voluntary recall on August 10.
The affected products (pictured above) are Kirkland Signature brand cookies, sold in packages of 1.1 kg (24 cookies).
If you purchased Chocolate Lover’s Cookies or Chocolate Chunk Cookies between July 26 and August 7, 2010, you shouldn’t eat them.
There have been no reported injuries associated with these products and Costco is contacting all of its customers who bought the cookies to deliver the warning.
