Marche returns to Toronto

“Marche” has re-opened at Brookfield Place at Yonge and Wellington.

It first opened in the same location 20 years ago but became “Richtree” for several years.

The Swiss restaurant chain, formerly know as Movenpick, is back in Canada and plans to open up to 10 locations specializing in a walk around serve-yourself market atmosphere with freshly made, organic food.

Two Swiss icons were on hand to mark the occasion. The well-trained St. Bernard dogs carried casks of Schnapps to mark the occasion. CEO Oliver Altherr did the pouring.
