Shania Heading To Idol?

It’s a long way from the bars of Timmins to America’s most famous panel of judges.
It’s even longer when you make a stop at the top of the country and pop charts, then take a quick detour through Switzerland.
But that could be just the right path for Shania Twain.
Twain was a guest on American Idol last season and it seemed, she impressed them (much). Now, the rumour mill is abuzz that the Canadian country superstar could be parking her boots under the Idol bed – permanently.
It would be big shake-up for the show: Long-time panelist Simon Cowell will not be coming back and neither will Ellen DeGeneres.
The producers have refused to confirm or deny rumours that Kara DioGuardi has been fired from the panel.
As for replacements, Jennifer Lopez is out but there is speculation Mariah Carey is interested, as is fellow diva Steve Tyler.
