Nerds Unite For Fan Expo

It’s every sci-fi, horror and pop culture geek’s dream come true this weekend, as Fan Expo is packing the Metro Convention Centre with famous faces.
Perhaps the comic book world’s biggest name, Stan Lee is slated to make his first appearance at the festival.
In addition, Star Trek’s William Shatner, TV’s original Batman cast Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar, legendary Canadian director David Cronenberg, artist Yoshitaka Amano from Final Fantasy and Vampire Hunter D will all be making the rounds.
Video game junkies will have the opportunity to test out the new Nintendo DS, which lets gamers play in 3D without glasses.
But if you don’t want to brave the crowds of the Metro Convention Centre, you can still indulge your inner nerd.
AMC Yonge Dundas will be screening Japanese anime films on Sunday. Tickets for each feature are $15 dollars each.
