Man shot while riding bike in Maple Ridge

MAPLE RIDGE (NEWS1130) – A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a targeted shooting in Maple Ridge. Mounties say the victim is well known to them and is in “grave condition.”
It happened around 7:45 a.m. near 232nd Street and 124th Avenue. Police say the victim was shot several times. The man was riding his bike at the time.
The intersection remains blocked while the investigation continues.
