Cyclist Killed In Lake Shore Crash

A cyclist has been killed in a late-night crash on Lake Shore Boulevard at Colborne Lodge Drive.
Police say a 28-year-old man was riding against a red light when he was hit by two cars. It happened around 11pm on Sunday.
As the cyclist entered the eastbound lanes, he was hit by a Toyota driven by a 30-year-old woman. The impact threw the man in the air and he landed on the windshield of an eastbound Geo. Both drivers stayed with the victim until police arrived.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say charges aren’t likely.
Lake Shore was closed at Ellis well into Monday morning for the investigation.
