Pantalone Launches Attack Ads

With less than three weeks until Election Day, the gloves are off in Toronto’s race for mayor.
Joe Pantalone’s team launched attack ads on Tuesday, accusing George Smitherman and Rob Ford of “taking a chainsaw” to the city’s budget. In another ad, he calls the pair of candidates a “demolition derby.”
The ads began playing on radio stations Newstalk 1010, 680 News, Jazz FM, and CP24 1050 on October 4.
Pantalone is currently third in the polls.
