DVP closures to note Oct. 12-17

TORONTO, Ont. – The Don Valley Parkway will be closed in several parts from October 12 to 17 to accommodate the City’s maintenance schedule.
The northbound lanes of the DVP from the Gardiner Expressway to Eglinton Avenue will be closed for pavement grinding on October 12, 13 and 14 beginning at 10 p.m. each night and continuing to 5 a.m. the following morning.
The northbound lanes of the Don Valley Parkway will be closed from the Gardiner Expressway to Eglinton Avenue for surface paving work from Saturday, October 16 at 2 a.m. to Sunday, October 17 at 5 p.m.
The City has suggested motorists use Don Mills Road, Bayview Avenue, Leslie Street and Kingston Road as alternative routes during the closures.
Maintenance work on the southbound lanes of the DVP will take place during an overnight closure on one weekend night later in the year. The date for that closure has not been finalized.
