Meaford school turns off Wi-Fi in classrooms

MEAFORD, Ont. – For the first time, a Canadian public school has decided to turn off the Wi-Fi in children’s classrooms.
Parents of children at St. Vincent-Euphrasia Elementary School in Meaford voted overwhelmingly to turn off the microwave transmitters in the class.
The school council took the action in response to parents’ concerns that Wi-Fi adversely affects children’s health.
