HST recall campaign approved

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Fight HST bid to recall Oak-Bay-Gordon Head MLA Ida Chong is going ahead. Elections BC has approved the campaign.

Canvassers will now have 60 days to collect over 15,000 signatures in the science and universities minister’s riding. If they’re successful, a by-election will be held.

Last week, the agency refused to approve the campaign because the application was too wordy.
