A man was rushed to hospital after he was stabbed during a convenience store robbery in Riverdale Thursday night, police say.
Around 9:45pm, officers got a call about a burglary at the shop on Logan Avenue, near Gerrard Street East and Carlaw Avenue.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene a short time later and found the victim, believed to be in his 40s, with knife wounds to the back.
There are reports as many as two suspects fled in a bronze-coloured Honda.
Police say the victim worked at the store. His wounds are not considered life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
