Actor for a Supporting Role; and the Oscar goes to …

It’s Hollywood’s biggest night and five Actors are vying for the “Actor in a Supporting Role” Oscar.

680News’ showbiz editor Gloria Martin and movie critic Leslie James have their say on who will be the front runner.

“Christian Bale is simply amazing! As Dicky Eklund, he’s just fantastic in it and the cool thing about this category is that three of the nominees are first time nominees,” said movie critic Leslie James.

“Mark Ruffalo in The Kids Are All Right, John Hawkes for Winter’s Bone and Christian Bale. It’s going to go to Christian!”

“I don’t know, it could be Geoffrey. Could be a sweep for The King’s Speech,” said showbiz editor Gloria Martin.

“You never know, it could be a tenth round surprise knockout,” replied James.
