Classes cancelled at Port Royal Public School Monday afternoon due to power outage

TORONTO, Ont. – Classes are cancelled Monday afternoon at Port Royal Public School in Scarborough due to a power outage, which has left the school without heat or hydro.

Parents are currently being contacted.

Staff will remain at the school which is in the Brimley Road and Steeles Avenue East area.

Toronto Hydro is working on the issue, and it is expected classes will resume on Tuesday.
