PITTSBURGH — Carey Price stopped 26 shots to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-0 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday.

Price registered his eighth shutout and has allowed seven goals in starting the past six games.

Tomas Plekanec, Travis Moen and Mike Cammalleri had the goals for Montreal, which has won six of its past seven and sits sixth in the Eastern Conference.

Plekanec scored his 21st goal, second-most on the team, 46 seconds into the game. After beating Jordan Staal on the faceoff, he slipped around Staal and backhanded in a pass from Cammalleri past goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.

The Canadiens struck just 24 seconds into the second on Moen’s goal before Cammalleri scored 6:51 into the period.
