TORONTO, Ont. – A Toronto city councillor is proposing a new temporary parking permit to prevent people staying overnight and visiting relatives from getting parking tickets.
Currently the shortest-term permit available is one week.
Paula Fletcher says her constituents want “overnighter” and “weekender” permits.
She is asking staff to look at the feasibility of creating shorter term permits and report back to the public works committee.
