Temporary street parking permits now available

Torontonians now have an option to ensure their overnight guests don’t get parking tickets.
On Tuesday the city announced temporary overnight parking permits are available for 24 and 48-hour periods. The slips cost $8 and $12, respectively.
Residents can purchase the permits online or in person at City Hall, the Etobicoke Civic Centre and the East York Civic Centre.
“As part of the Mayor’s commitment to improving customer service, these new permits will provide more convenience, allowing guests to stay overnight or for a weekend without receiving a parking ticket,” Coun. Denzil Minnan-Wong, chair of the city’s Public Works and Infrastructure Committee, said in a statement.
