Versace to create a fall collection for H&M

This fall, popular retail chain H&M will collaborate with Italian design house Versace in a limited edition fashion collection.  Released in select H&M stores on November 19, the line will feature exclusive pieces described by creative director Donatella Versace as quintessential Versace.

Recently worn by Lady Gaga, in her latest Edge of Glory music video – and about everywhere else since she was just granted access to the Italian house’s vintage archives – Versace clothing is known for being both “glamorous and flamboyant”, in the words of H&M’s creative advisor, Margareta Van den Bosch. Customers can expect a similar look with this collection, along with H&M’s affordable prices.

The women’s line will feature dresses and high heels with leather, studs, color and exuberance. And for you ladies aspiring to give your whole universe the same glam treatment, the men’s collection will feature sharp tailoring, including the perfect tuxedo, and the home collection, H&M’s first in a designer collaboration, will include a bedspread and pillows.

With this collaboration with H&M, Versace follows in the footsteps of designers Karl Lagerfeld, Viktor and Rolf, and Lanvin. Get ready to wait in line!
